   The idea of a SAR product company was thought up in a late night bull session at a SAR school. Started in 1998, SAR Camp has grown around the world. From Canada to Russia, our products are being used. As we began company life as a Ground Search & Rescue Equipment supplier, we have evolved and will continue to evolve as a Public Safety Equipment Supplier. Our philosophy has always been quality and at a good price. We will not sell a manufacturers equipment until it has been tested in the field, where cheap inferior products could cost a life. In 2000 because we believe in our products, SAR Camp began offering Lifetime Warranties on its Mainstay Packs such as the Webgear and Topload Packs. This previously had been unheard for a distributor to extend a Lifetime Warranty on an item, well above the manufacturers warranty. Why did we do it?
